Everyday in English we all sit down and read our books for 15 minutes. Lately I have been reading " Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters". Instantly this book hooked me in with all the adventures and intense quests they go on. First of all Percy and his classmates are playing dodge ball in the gym and then majority of his classmates turn into monsters called Laistrygonians. Luckily him and his close friend Tyson were alright.
They found out they were needed at Camp half-blood. Which is a camp for half gods. This is because someone poisoned Thalia's tree. Zeus created Thalia's tree to save his dying daughter. They go on a quest to try to find the golden fleece. Which is the cure for Thalia's tree. Unfortunately for them they encounter a huge boat called "Princess Andromeda". Abroad are a lot of peculiar monsters. Even the person who poisoned Thalia's tree.
I haven't finished this book yet but I feel like I know what might happen. I predict that Percy and his friends will be trapped on the boat, but will find a way out and kill the poisoner of Thalia's tree. For a price. I think Percy will have to sacrifice something or someone to find the cure.
